Awning CEC de Bilt

We were able to carry out this project some time ago, but it is a good representation of what we have to offer. We realised an aluminium awning for the new building complex, Cultural Educational Centre (CEC de Bilt). The new complex is part of the Melkweg development plan in Bilthoven, a collaboration between SSW housing association and the municipality of De Bilt.

What have we done?

An eye-catcher of this complex are the aluminium awnings on the side of the building facing the square. In consultation with the building team, the original 3D awnings were transformed into an economically, aesthetically and structurally sound concept. For this project, we carried out the total engineering and realised the 'white' aluminium cladding at the entrance. The awning consists of 3 mm aluminium sheets and is powder coated to Ral 9010.
