Greenergy Amsterdam
Greenergy produces second-generation biodiesel from vegetable waste, or used frying fat. The current factory in Amsterdam is expanding its biodiesel production by having a new plant built directly against the existing one. Novicon has been awarded the contract for this.
What will we do?
Besides supplying and assembling the steel structure, gratings and railing, we also do all the engineering ourselves. Because the new building will be built against the existing one, there is little space available for assembly. Proper preparation and planning is required here.
In addition to the structural work, we also assemble the equipment at the client's request. This is integrated into the steel assembly and delivered and assembled just-in-time. The highlight of the construction is the 22-meter-long stripper column that has to be lifted into the structure with its weight of 25 tons. All this work will be carried out without interfering with Greenergy's business processes and with safety being paramount! This will be a great challenge for our construction team!
